Since this was my first internship I did not have much prior experience before this internship. I was offered the job based on my ability to learn new technologies I have interest in.
I was able to learn the in-dept concepts of AngularJS such as directives, controllers, dependency injections, services and testing. I had to make multiple edits to the directives, controllers and services that were assigned to collections so I followed the process of learning as I code to maximize results.
Node.js is a key component for the server-side of the application which I was able to learn during my time at OpenText. I had the chance to design and implement an API to remove resources from a collection. I had to implement the required policies, API route, the API functionality and the test cases to practice test driven development.
